Victory Run Subdivision northwest of the Emerson Avenue / I-465 intersection in Beech Grove, Indiana

PROJECT DESCRIPTION :

Since the construction of
I-465, stormwater runoff created major erosion problems in Victory Run Subdivision northwest of the Emerson Avenue / I-465 intersection. The City of Beech Grove struggled with the needed financing to correct the drainage problems in the area. In 2000 the project financing picture was complete with the receipt of an INDOT grant. United was hired to provide the design for the primarily open drain. The project will included re-establishment of the drain with various erosion control products and design methods to minimize future erosion in the area.
